Whether you have your own artwork or need us to create it, we'll help make sure your order is ready for print.
Select “I Need Artwork Designed” when placing your order.
We'll contact you by email to discuss what you have in mind. You can send us your ideas, text, logo, images or examples of what you're looking for.
Please provide a phone number with your order so we can reach you if we need clarification.
You'll receive the final artwork for your approval before we send it to print.
You can also email your artwork ideas or information directly to vivaprint.ca [at] gmail.com.
Upload your file when placing your order, or select “I'll Email My Artwork” and send it to vivaprint.ca [at] gmail.com.
We'll do a basic print-readiness check to make sure your file has the correct size, bleed, safety margins, resolution and colour mode.
If we notice something that could affect the final print, we'll contact you before proceeding.
Please note: We check the file for print setup, but we do not proofread or verify the content. Please make sure all names, phone numbers, addresses, dates, prices, spelling, images and other information are correct before submitting your artwork.
For best results, please provide:
- PDF format — flat, print-ready PDF
- 300 DPI resolution
- CMYK colour mode
- 1/8" (0.125") bleed on all sides
- Keep important text and logos at least 1/8" inside the trim line
- Correct finished document size
- Correct orientation
- Embed or outline all fonts
- Remove hidden layers, guides and artwork that should not print
- Avoid borders positioned too close to the trim
